Official Rules for the Doctor Car Check LLC Treasure Hunt Contest

1. Contest Sponsor

The Doctor Car Check LLC Treasure Hunt (“Contest”) is organized and sponsored by Doctor Car Check LLC (“Organizer”). This Contest is not affiliated with or endorsed by any social media platform.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to legal residents of Florida who are 18 years or older.
  • Employees of Doctor Car Check LLC, contest sponsors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  • No purchase necessary.

3. How to Enter and Play

  • Participants, 1 person team only though guests may accompany, must register on the Doctor Car Check LLC website no later than April 18, 2025.
  • The contest begins on April, 19, 2025 at 3pm and ends when the 3 prize winners have been determined at the end of the contest.
  • On April, 19, 2025, at 3pm sharp, each contestant will receive an email with the first clue. Each clue will lead to a QR code at a public location outdoors, which will direct the contestant to the next clue. The QR codes could be anywhere, behind and under things, hard to find but not impossible.
  • The contest location will not deviate beyond a clearly defined area: Downtown Deland, South of Wisconsin Ave, North of Howry Ave. East and West will be limited to the alleys behind the store fronts on Woodland Blvd. The contest continues until a participant finds the final prize location.

4. Winner Determination & Prize Claim

  • Participants who reach the final prize location must scan the final code and enter their name, email address and phone number on the form. Time stamps from this submission will accurately determine 1st through 3rd place winning contestants. Each of the winners will receive a phone call to claim their prizes.
  • Winners must provide proof of identity and may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility ( eligibility checked only if a participant is suspected of being younger than 18).
  • We have timed the course. If you complete the contest in an amount of time that we consider to be unreasonably fast, you will be disqualified for cheating. Distance traveled combined with clue difficulty and the amount of time required to solve each clue, give us a very good indication of contestant integrity. Doctor Car Check LLC reserves the right to disqualify any contestants based on our findings. We want this to be a fair and fun community event, so DO NOT ruin it for everyone else. But if you intend to game the system…we’ve got your number! We have the data.

  • Participants assume all risks associated with participating in the contest.
  • Doctor Car Check LLC and contest sponsors are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during participation.
  • Participants must obey all traffic laws and respect public property.

7. General Conditions

  • Doctor Car Check LLC reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any attempts to cheat, manipulate, or disrupt the contest will result in disqualification and Doctor Car Check LLC will determine such activity at their discretion.

By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Doctor Car Check LLC, which are final and binding.
